This brand new speedo cable has been manufactured with our MDI polyurethane grommet pre-fitted.
It is for use in vehicles running BorgWarner 35 automatic or BorgWarner 3/4 speedo manual transmissions.
APPLICATION NOTE:
TorqueFlite end: Screw on
BorgWarner end: Push in
Early build TorqueFlite transmissions fitted in AP5/AP6 vehicles ran a BorgWarner type speedometer cable. Check the transmission end of your existing cable to ensure compatibility.
Hemi Performance Speedometer and Throttle Cables
This cable has been manufactured by the same company that Chrysler Australia Ltd used during the original production of your Valiant.
With this fact, you can be sure that your new cable will not only fit correctly, but it will also provide years of reliable service.
A damaged freyed cable could cause you to not have an accurate speed reading, or a worn throttle cable may break at any time - which could cause a serious accident.
