Our T5 boxes are modified in such a way you can retain both Valiant specific clutch kits and clutch linkage components offering both simple off the shelf components with no confusion, not to mention you are not locked into expensive hybrid parts later down the road.

Before you purchase - important notes:
This is a custom-fit conversion, and modifications are required to your factory vehicle, here are the common modifications:
- The shifter hole must be extended buy 2.5 to 3 cm in all models
- Some areas of floor must be stretched with a ball peen hammer to prevent vibrations on the edges of the gearbox
- The rear cross support must be cut out at top, and near the speedometer outlet (a reinforced lower cross member is supplied instead)
- One-piece front bench seats must be modified to allow clearance for the shifter, or you must change to bucket seats.
- On RV1-VC models only, heavy modifications to the center hump are required, this installation is only recommended with replacement of the hump entirely or by cutting and widening the hump significantly with sheet metal.
- The tail shaft may need to be either shortened or lengthened in certain cases (we do supply an over length yoke, however compatibility is not always guaranteed)
- Ball and truninon type shafts must be either replaced or converted to a universal joint compatible with the yoke supplied
- By purchasing this kit you acknowledge that you have read these notes and understand that these modifications are a minimum list and other slight adjustments may be requried on a case-by-case basis

- I ordered this kit and it took 8 months before it actually got shipped to me. Once I had everything installed by a workshop I got 4 starts before the hemi performance starter motor (to suit a 148 tooth flywheel which is supplied in kit) stripped the teeth on the flywheel and on the starter motor. I am greatly disappointed in this and also in the lack of capability to get in touch with the hemi performance team, not answering phones, no useful responses & overall lack of help to fix the issue.
