This as per factory reproduction switch can be used on a large range of Chrysler Valiant vehicles.
Is is used to automatically activate your interior light when your door is open and also in the boot of some models.
Suitable replacement for all Valiant models.
Replaces factory part number 2822592, and 1972329.

- Fo my installation the length from the bolt to the top of the plunger sticks out too far from standard ('73 VJ Charger). However the sleeve surrounding the plunger can be pressed down. Vice supporting hex bolt, push plunger down with block of wood to sit on sleeve then gentle tapping will move the sleeve down to get the right length poking out for your installation - perfect!
