The circuit protection works by using your existing switch lighting wiring harness and then only drawing a fraction of the power normally required to activate a relay; the relay relay then provides full amperage to the new connectors through all new wiring dramatcailly reducing resistance when compared to your original loom and therefore increasing light output and protecting the original switch in the cabin.

Within minutes not only can you protect your valuable original wiring loom and switch, but also increase your existing light output by up to 30% by reducing resistance that is inherit with aged wiring.
