Q. I can get cheap liners anywhere - why buy a matched set?

A. It is Important to ensure that the rear drums and liners are remanufatured at the same time and kitted together. Whilst it may be cheaper to purchase drums and liners separate, they will not be the exact same diameter; this will cause the leading edge to wear more quickly as the entire surface of the un-matched set will not be mating properly during brake operation. Other side effects of miss-matched kits is excess heat causing the drums to warp and shudder.
