- Avoided replacing this part for years until I couldn’t trace a wiring issue in the indicators. I had once recently replaced the cam and persisted with the old switching mechanism of the original switching assembly but now I wonder why I didn’t just replace the whole mechanism when I needed to replace the cam. Great to know that the indicators are going to work consistently rather than having to be flicking my indicator lever back n forth to get the switching mechanism to properly engage - probably a little safer too.
