Radiator caps are designed to seal the top of the radiator filler neck to prevent coolant loss, pressurise the cooling system and raise the boiling point of the coolant. All Gates radiator pressure caps are constructed of
corrosion-resistant, heavy-gauge metal. This assures long service life
and accurate control of pressure

- The old cap was knackered and letting off pressure all the time, the rubber seal was pretty stuffed. New item has solved the overheating problem and no more leaks!!
