This kit has everything you need to fit air con and heating to your Valiant.
Includes high quality do-it-yourself Air-O-Crimp system for all the gas lines and fittings, an upgraded under dash evaporator unit that has both cooling and heating which includes a brand new internal heater core and features an electric tap to ensure better water control for increased efficiency heating or cooling. This means you don't have to deal with having to re-core your probably 40 year old original heater core system!
This kit will help you to complete all the hard work to putting an air con system into your vehicle.
Our kit includes
- "Vintage Air" under dash air conditioning evaporator (Heating & A/C with Defroster tube outlet)
- Full Air-O-Crimp fitting and line installation kit including high quality crimp tool
- Exclusive compressor bracket (made for Hemi 6 engines)
- Exclusive crankshaft pulley
- Chrome/polished air con compressor
- High quality Gates fan belt
- Condenser (air con radiator)
- Receiver drier
- Bracket for receiver drier
Once you have installed this kit; all that is left to do is to call your local mobile automotive air conditioner specialist to gas up your system and then you're set to go!
Important Fitting Information:
- Will not fit with factory power steering (however, it will fit perfectly with our manual or power rack & pinion conversion)
- Under dash unit will not fit in vehicles with factory "coffin head" console.

- As good as the shiny finish is on the cal custom compressor, form follows function. The third compressor has leaked the r134a out the seal. I have not been refunded at this stage. I have fitted a genuine Denso. I can show (an independent arbiter) that all procedures were correctly followed, cleanliness observed. The pressures used in this system are lower than the compressors design capability so it is impossible to cause seal failure. I have extensive experience installing and repairing A/C. - The vintage air underdash unit is of poor finish in the facia. Vents not straight and aligned. Plastic surround looks cheap. It is wider than the gap between steer column and glovebox lid (CM Regal)
