Dyno tested up to 450hp at the wheels with no slipping and up to 660 foot pound of torque!
(Please note that this clutch will survive infrequent abuse of much higher horsepower figures however it is not guaranteed and will not stand up to continual track use above these figures.)
- Billet steel self cooling flywheel:
Made of one piece of steel, it is then machined and the ring gear is spline cut (122 tooth) into the billet and heat treated and hardened as one assembly - this mean maximum strength across the entire mating surface and mount points (see important notes below)
This flywheel features a 122 tooth ring gear, suitable for use with 10 tooth starter motors. - Custom modified 10" pressure/cover plate:
Custom made to fit the billet flywheel offers increased surface friction area for better hold with high horsepower engines; this race version has the highest clamping pressure of any of our current kits. - 6 Spring Cerametallic Button Clutch
- Performance Thrust Bearing that will fit directly onto factory carrier.
- Specific Grade 8 socket head cover plate bolts to bolt clutch to the flywheel.
- This product is supplied with dowels for added security and a weight to be used with Small Block 360 externally balanced engines.
Note that this kit will directly bolt on to any Hemi 6, or Small Block engines.
IMPORTANT NOTE: There are cheaper ways of making a 10" clutch fit behind our vehicles, this involves modifying a non specific flywheel drilling partially into the ring gear - this is a dangerous method that could allow the clutch to come loose from the flywheel and cause serious damage to your flywheel, clutch and even the gearbox itself.
Our kit does not drill partly into flywheel and partly into ring gear!
